Ce week-end, Tim Cook a fait son retour en Europe en rendant visite à l’Irlande. Il a également donné son point de vue sur les taxes.
Il n’a pas fait qu’une tournée habituelle en rencontrant Hozier, l’auteur-compositeur de WarDucks, il s’est exprimé sur un sujet épineux : les taxes. Le patron d’Apple admet comprendre la complexité de taxer une multinationale tout en espérant une taxation la plus juste possible. Cette peur survint suite à la taxe GAFA.
Les 2 pays devraient trouver un terrain d’entente grâce au forum de Davos. Tim Cook a confiance dans l’OCDE (Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques) qui, il l’espère, trouvera une solution qui conviendra à tous.
